About the role
We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our APAC team, working at the intersection of technology, data and commercial strategy.
You'll be a trusted technical partner to our regional Sales and Customer Success teams, helping prospective customers understand the value of InfoSum's platform and how it can solve their data collaboration challenges. From technical discovery and product demonstrations to solution design, proofs of concept and implementation support, you'll help turn customer needs into practical, scalable solutions.
Working closely with Engineering, Product, Support and the wider WPP network, you'll play an important role throughout the customer journey - supporting new business opportunities, enabling successful implementations and helping partners get lasting value from the platform.
This is an opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation, a customer-first mindset and an interest in data collaboration, advertising technology and privacy-enhancing solutions to develop their expertise and take increasing ownership.
What you'll be doing
•Partner with Sales, Customer Success and WPP teams to understand customer requirements and design practical technical solutions.
•Lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, workshops and proofs of concept.
•Develop solution designs, architecture diagrams and clear technical documentation.
•Support data onboarding, integrations, transformations and activation workflows.
•Help customers and partners move from implementation to productive, repeatable use of the platform.
•Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Product Marketing and Support to resolve technical challenges and share customer feedback.
•Contribute to the development, documentation and maintenance of tools and products owned by the Solutions Engineering team.
•Translate customer needs into actionable feature requests, clearly outlining requirements, platform limitations, expected value and acceptance criteria.
•Escalate platform issues with clear evidence and context, helping Support and Engineering investigate and resolve them effectively.
•Communicate technical dependencies, estimate delivery effort and contribute to agreed quarterly objectives.
•Follow InfoSum's security, privacy and data-handling policies.
What you'll bring
•Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, Technical Support Engineer or technical consulting role, with exposure to Customer Success practices.
•Foundational Python and SQL skills, with an understanding of APIs, data pipelines and cloud platforms.
•Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
•Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Strong organisation and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on maintainable solutions.
•An interest in advertising technology, data collaboration and privacy-conscious data use.
•Exposure to agentic workflows and an interest in how AI-driven approaches can improve technical processes and customer outcomes.
•A willingness to learn through coaching, collaborate across teams and progressively take ownership of solutions and customer engagements.
•Experience in SaaS implementation, technical consulting or ad tech would be beneficial, but deep expertise in every area isn't expected. We're interested in someone with solid fundamentals, curiosity and the ability to grow.
What success looks like
•Delivering reliable technical solutions with clear, consistent communication.
•Helping partners progress towards productive, repeatable platform usage.
•Improving and reusing standard solutions, tools and demonstrations.
•Producing high-quality, maintainable work that supports the wider team.
•Submitting actionable feature requests grounded in real customer needs.
•Contributing to shared partner-signature and data collaboration targets.
