About the Role
At GEA in Oelde, we develop and manufacture state-of-the-art centrifuges and separation technologies on an 85,000 m² production site. Our solutions – including separators, decanters and complete system solutions – enable the efficient separation of liquids and solids and support a wide range of industries worldwide.
To strengthen our Customs & Foreign Trade team, we are looking for a Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on origin of goods and preferences, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities / Tasks
•Supporting specialists and managers on topics such as origin of goods, customs exemption, preference regulations and tariff classification
•Central point of contact for customs authorities and chambers of commerce, as well as contact for suppliers and customers
•Carrying out preferential and trade-law origin calculations
•Implementing new legal requirements in customs and foreign trade law
•Maintaining and updating customs-relevant master data in SAP ERP and SAP GTS
•Requesting and managing supplier declarations, certificates of origin and proofs of origin
•Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and provisions in the field of customs and foreign trade law
•Taking on deputy tasks within the Foreign Trade team as needed
Your Profile / Qualifications
•Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
•Knowledge of origin of goods and preference law is desirable
•Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP / SAP GTS is an advantage
•Fluent German and English, written and spoken
•Strong understanding of legal contexts and high service orientation
