NVIDIA

Software Verification Engineer

In short

NVIDIA is hiring a Software Verification Engineer to build simulation applications modeling large-scale InfiniBand and NVLINK networks and to verify complex networking software for HPC, ML, and AI workloads. The role involves developing automated test environments and collaborating with Software, Firmware, and Architecture teams. It requires 2+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and Linux debugging experience; knowledge of C/C++, Docker, Kubernetes, and OCI/network model is a plus.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Software Verification Engineer to join our innovative team and tackle SW verification challenges in the domain of high-speed networking. You will play a crucial role in simulating InfiniBand networks and NVLINK interconnects and verifying complex software products that deliver advanced networking services for high-performance computing, machine learning, and AI workloads.
What You'll Be Doing
•Design and develop simulation applications that model large-scale, high-speed networks — enabling verification of software features that cannot be validated on physical hardware.
•Build and maintain automated test environments for high-end hardware and software, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our networking software stack using state-of-the-art testing platforms.
•Collaborate closely with Software, Firmware, and Architecture teams to understand new network technologies and ensure accurate modeling within your simulation applications.
•Improve product quality by expanding test coverage and defining comprehensive verification strategies.
What We Need to See
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•2+ years of experience in software engineering roles, with a track record of collaborative problem-solving.
•Proficiency in Python programming.
•Familiarity with developing modern Software Verification Systems, with a strong interest in algorithms.
•Good background in designing, implementing, and debugging software, including experience in Linux environments.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd
•Knowledge of C/C++ programming.
•Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
•Understanding of the OCI/network model.
