OVS FORTIS is modernizing an enterprise e-commerce technology stack built around Shopify and NetSuite ERP.
What you will do
•Lead the deprecation and migration of legacy fulfillment services to serverless Node.js/TypeScript applications hosted in AWS.
•Build, optimize, and maintain scalable integrations between Shopify and NetSuite ERP for fulfillment, inventory, and order management.
•Customize Shopify storefronts and backend logic using Liquid, GraphQL and REST Admin APIs, and Shopify Apps/Functions.
•Develop NetSuite SuiteScripts 2.0/2.1, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP web services, RESTlets, and workflows for fulfillment automation and business logic.
•Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and E-Commerce teams to refine requirements, document code, and establish CI/CD practices.
Requirements
•5+ years of software development experience with a strong track record of enterprise system integrations.
•Proven NetSuite integration experience using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteTalk, and custom RESTlets.
•Strong Shopify API experience, including GraphQL, REST, webhooks, and app integrations.
•Deep Node.js proficiency for building RESTful APIs and asynchronous integration services; TypeScript experience is preferred in the source requirements.
•Ability to read, understand, and refactor existing PHP code and relational database structures, including MySQL and MariaDB, to extract logic during migration.
Nice to have
•Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or Zapier for connecting Shopify and NetSuite.
•Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js.
