Company
Builds useful software and provides infrastructure engineering for clients' production AWS environments.
What you will do
•Build, operate, and improve reliable, secure, observable production infrastructure using Kubernetes, EKS, AWS, and Python.
•Design and maintain security controls including IAM, secrets management, network policies, image and supply-chain controls, and audit trails.
•Develop automation and tooling, including LLM agents and MCP servers with tightly scoped infrastructure access.
•Plan changes, perform dry runs, roll changes through staging, monitor dashboards after rollout, and own production outcomes.
•Handle failure modes, rollbacks, meaningful alerts, runbooks, and other reliability work without a separate NOC or SRE team.
•Collaborate through code reviews, technical discussions, and direct feedback while improving delivery systems and team tooling.
Requirements
•5+ years of production Kubernetes experience; EKS is preferred.
•Strong hands-on AWS experience; professional certification is preferred, including DevOps Engineer–Professional, Solutions Architect–Professional, or Security–Specialty.
•Practical security experience and strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, distributed systems, and concurrency.
•Experience with observability using LGTM: Loki, Grafana, Tempo, and Mimir.
•Python scripting for automation and tooling.
•Experience wiring LLM agents and MCP servers into real workflows with access scoped so agents cannot hold production keys.
•Ability to address failure modes, rollbacks, alerts, runbooks, verification, and operational details rather than only happy paths.
•Openness to feedback, curiosity about gaps, humility, and willingness to take ownership of production systems.
•Candidates from GKE, AKS, or on-premises backgrounds are welcome, but may start at a reduced rate for the first months while converting to AWS; contract terms are then re-evaluated.
Nice to have
•CKA or CKS certification.
•Background in mathematics or physics, or competitive programming experience.
Culture & Benefits
•100% official employment with a white salary.
•On-site offices in Tbilisi and Minsk; complex technical work is handled through face-to-face collaboration.
•Output-focused environment with flexible hours, while maintaining required physical presence.
•Performance bonuses and a token-based equity program for employees who stay and build with the company.
•Potential partner track earned through sustained, high-quality contribution.
•High responsibility and increasing delegation, including production access after reliability is demonstrated.
Hiring process
•Answer the application question in 3–4 sentences maximum, strictly without AI: describe the most complex and non-obvious infrastructure or security problem introduced by a change, configuration, or rollout, how it was recognized, and how it was fixed.
