OneTru Platform (Data Management) — the team develops scalable data management and onboarding capabilities that help Users efficiently onboard, manage, and leverage data across the OneTru ecosystem.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with Engineering Managers and Product Teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that integrate seamlessly with enterprise platforms and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready backend services using modern software engineering practices.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business and technical requirements.
•Drive application scalability, reliability, and performance through innovative design and continuous improvement.
•Apply a test-driven development approach, ensuring robust code quality, maintainability, and security.
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the application stack.
•Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
•Stay current with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas that enhance product capabilities and developer productivity.
Required Knowledge and Experiences
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable, cloud-native services.
Key Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
•Experience in application design, development, testing, debugging, and security vulnerability remediation.
•Good understanding of Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and modern data platforms.
•Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Harness) and source control tools such as Git/Gerrit.
•Working knowledge of Spark, Python, BigQuery, SQL, and NoSQL databases is desirable.
•Experience incorporating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities into applications is a strong plus.
•Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
