Your Impact
You know payroll accounting from practical experience – and want to use this knowledge to make modern software better? Then this role is for you. As a Business Analyst, you actively help shape our payroll solution Online Lohn: you translate real payroll processes into clear, actionable requirements and act as the subject-matter bridge between domain knowledge and software development. You ensure that new features not only work technically, but are also factually correct, legally compliant, and usable in everyday practice.
Your Tasks
•Analyze business requirements in the area of payroll accounting and translate them into clear, actionable concepts for software development
•Actively participate in the elaboration, conception and testing of new features, and check development results for factual correctness
•Act as the direct subject-matter point of contact for developers – quickly clarify questions, efficiently advance implementation
•Keep track of legal changes and ensure they are incorporated into the software promptly and correctly
•Collaborate with connected systems and interface partners – particularly in the area of HR, HCM and time tracking
•Use modern AI tools to increase efficiency in analysis and specification
What Excites Us About You
•Solid knowledge and several years of practical experience in payroll accounting
•Technical affinity and enjoyment working on software – you can formulate requirements so they are clear and actionable for development teams
•Structured, analytical way of working and confident communication with stakeholders from both business and technical backgrounds
•Experience with HCM software, personnel master data, time management or digital personnel files is an advantage
•Knowledge of using AI tools in software development is a plus
•Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (at least B2)
