Keba d.o.o.

Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (Data Platform)

In short

This role operates and builds out KEBA's enterprise Azure-based data platform, owning cloud infrastructure, CI/CD (GitLab), Infrastructure as Code, monitoring and operational practices. The company is the Novi Sad branch of the Austrian KEBA Group, building a new in-house DevOps/Data Engineering capability. It's a hybrid role based in Novi Sad requiring 3+ years of hands-on Azure, Terraform/IaC, Git/CI/CD, cloud networking and scripting (preferably Python) experience, with room to grow into technical leadership.

# Who are we
KEBA Novi Sad is part of the Austrian KEBA Group, a technology company with more than 50 years of experience in industrial automation, energy management, banking automation, e-mobility and logistics.
# Location & work model
This role is based in Novi Sad. We work in a hybrid setup with one guaranteed home office day per week, while additional remote days are possible depending on the project and team needs.
Since we are building a new engineering capability from the ground up, we believe close day-to-day collaboration is essential. That's why this is primarily an on-site role.
# Help us build KEBA's Data Platform
KEBA is building an enterprise data platform that will provide the foundation for data, analytics and AI across the entire Group.
After developing our first data products, exploring different architectural approaches and building our Data Engineering capability, we are now entering the next phase: turning what we have built into a reliable, secure and scalable platform.
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer who wants to take technical ownership of our cloud infrastructure, automation and operational practices, while helping us strengthen our in-house DevOps competence in Novi Sad.
You will work alongside Data Engineers and experienced internal and external experts, taking ownership of the infrastructure, automation and operational foundations that allow our data platform for years to come.
We are building a platform for the next decade—not for the next sprint. That also shapes the way we work: we value automation, thoughtful engineering, sustainable pace and long-term thinking over constant firefighting.
# What will you actually do?
As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will help shape, build and operate the infrastructure and automation behind KEBA's enterprise data platform.
Your focus will be on making our platform reliable, secure, repeatable and easy to operate. You will take ownership of key DevOps topics, support Data Engineers in running their workloads and help define how DevOps and DataOps practices evolve within our team.
You will remain hands-on while having the opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role and help develop the competence of other engineers.
