About the role

Tasks
•Cloud and platform security: You assess and harden cloud environments, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines, independently of vendors and closer to the code than to the licensing model.
•Attack surface: Together with our customers, you build effective attack surface management, from asset discovery and scans to triaging the results.
•Technical due diligence: For private equity mandates, you examine the technology of target companies and clearly explain where the risks lie.
•Project responsibility: You independently lead your customer projects from planning through completion and serve as the primary contact.
•Knowledge transfer: You contribute your knowledge to our cohorts, where several companies work together over several months to make concrete improvements.
Requirements
•A valid EU work permit is required for this position.
•German - business fluent (C2), English - fluent (C1).
•Depth in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), as well as in Linux, container, and open-source stacks.
•You read code and configuration and derive concrete, prioritized risks from them.
•Experience independently planning, managing, and completing customer projects.
•Business-fluent German, English at least C1.
Nice to have
•Offensive security experience as a secondary skill, such as penetration testing or thinking in attack paths.
•Experience with IaC and DevSecOps tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes, pipeline security).
•Contributions to open-source projects.
•Knowledge of relevant regulations such as NIS-2, DORA, or ISO 27001.
