Responsibilities
•Develop the application frontend with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, creating fast, accessible interfaces for data-heavy workflows
•Build and maintain the backend-for-frontend layer with Nest.js, serving the UI through REST and GraphQL APIs
•Integrate the application with Sitecore XM Cloud or a comparable headless CMS
•Implement bulk import and export of structured data, including validation, filtering, and visualisation
•Structure the UI as microfrontends using Tailwind CSS and Radix UI components
•Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and client stakeholders to turn business needs into usable features
•Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and deploy to Microsoft Azure
•Contribute to code reviews and share frontend best practices within the team
Requirements
•5+ Years of professional frontend development experience
•3+ Years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
•1+ Year of experience with headless CMS platforms
•Proven experience with microfrontend architectures and backend-for-frontend implementations using Nest.js
•3+ Years of experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
•Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS in modern web applications, including Tailwind CSS and UI component libraries such as Radix UI or comparable
•Experience developing data-intensive web applications, including bulk data processing
•Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines
•Experience with monorepo-based development environments
•Knowledge of scalable frontend architectures in enterprise environments and frontend performance optimization
•Fluent German (C1) and very good English for working with the client, joining technical discussions, and writing documentation
