Polcode is a Poland-based software house that builds web, mobile, and eCommerce products for startups and established companies worldwide. The client is a Swedish e-commerce brand specializing in wallpapers, murals, and art prints for international customers.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain frontend features for an international e-commerce application
•Build user-facing interfaces using React and TypeScript
•Develop digital shopping experiences focused on usability, functionality, and visual quality
•Collaborate closely with the client's team on ongoing product development
•Translate product and interface requirements into maintainable frontend solutions
•Apply practical e-commerce knowledge to everyday development decisions
•Use AI-powered development tools in the regular engineering workflow
•Contribute to a consistent, user-friendly experience that reflects the brand's design-focused identity
Requirements
•At least 5–6+ years of commercial frontend development experience, including strong hands-on expertise in React and TypeScript
•Substantial experience developing e-commerce applications is mandatory
•Ability to provide concrete examples of e-commerce projects, including developed features, responsibilities, and individual contributions
•Practical understanding of e-commerce applications and effective, user-friendly online shopping experiences
•Experience building and maintaining customer-facing interfaces in commercial environments
•Ability to work effectively as an embedded member of a client's development team
•Hands-on experience using AI tools in the daily development workflow
•Strong focus on code quality, usability, and attention to detail
•Very good English communication skills for daily collaboration with an international development team
