About the Role
Do you want to help shape the future of quality work in a technology- and software-intensive organization? We are looking for a senior Quality Lead who wants to take a key role in developing quality assurance at business, project and product level.
This is not a traditional quality role. Here you get the opportunity to combine quality management, customer focus and innovation in an organization where technology, software and AI are in focus. You will work closely with management, project managers and development teams to strengthen quality, delivery capability and business development. The role involves a large degree of personal mandate where you are expected to drive improvements, challenge established ways of working and influence decisions that contribute to both short-term results and long-term competitiveness.

A Broad Assignment with Multiple Perspectives
The role spans several parts of the business. You don't need experience in all areas, but you should feel comfortable working closely with:
•Program level – quality management and business development
•Project level – quality assurance of customer projects and deliveries
•R&D – product development, digitalization and AI
Main Areas of Responsibility
•Drive and develop the organization's quality management, management systems, audits and improvement initiatives, and act as a strategic partner to management and the business. (Program level)
•Ensure that customer projects deliver the right quality through requirements management, risk management, quality planning and follow-up throughout the project lifecycle. (Project level)
•Integrate quality into product, system and software development, and support development teams in building quality in from the start. (R&D, Innovation and AI)
•Together with other quality colleagues, develop the quality work of the future through digitalization, data analysis, automation and AI, and act as the link between business, project and development. (Program level, Project level and R&D)
In this role you not only ensure that quality is achieved. Together with your colleagues, you help develop the quality work of the future in an organization where technology, software and AI are at the center.
The position is based in Solna, but it is also possible to be based in Linköping or Arboga. Travel within Sweden occurs in the role.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience of quality work in complex technology- or software-intensive environments, who feels comfortable working both strategically and operationally. You are analytical, pragmatic and driven by creating structure, simplifying ways of working and turning improvement ideas into concrete results.
We believe that you:
•Have several years of experience (approximately 8 years or more) in quality management, quality assurance, systems engineering, project management or related areas.
•Thrive at the intersection of business, project, quality and technology.
•Have a good understanding of both development and delivery processes.
•Have a strong focus on improvement and change.
•Are independent and comfortable challenging existing ways of working.
•Have a good ability to build relationships and create engagement.
•Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
We believe the role suits you if you currently work as, for example, Quality Manager, Project Quality Manager, Lead Quality Engineer, Systems Engineer or in another senior role where quality, technology and business development meet.
To Succeed in the Role You Need to Have
•Experience of quality management, quality assurance or process development.
•Experience of audits, non-conformance handling and root cause analyses.
•Experience of risk management and quality follow-up.
•Experience from complex technology, system or software environments.
It Is Advantageous If You Have
•Experience from software development, systems engineering or systems-of-systems.
•Experience of Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps and CI/CD.
•Experience of leading roles within project, program or business development.
•Experience of business or quality management at program level.
•Experience of Continuous Improvement, Lean or Operational Excellence.
•Experience of AI, automation or data-driven quality work.
•Experience of change management and organizational development.
Knowledge of one or more of the following standards and frameworks is advantageous:
•Defense and aviation industry: EN9100/AS9100, AQAP 2110, AQAP 2210
•Program level (Governance & Quality Management): ISO 9001, ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 42001
•Project level (Customer Projects & Delivery): ISO 15288, ISO 12207, AQAP 2110, AQAP 2210, CMMI
•R&D, Product Development & Innovation: Agile, Scrum, DevOps, DevSecOps, NIST SSDF, AI Assurance, Secure Software Engineering
