About the Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you take on a key function within our Quality Control team, ensuring the quality of our raw parts and finished products. Working with our world-class team, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You will work closely with interfaces across all areas of the company as well as externally to carry out quality controls for incoming goods and for deliveries of finished products. With your careful and quality-conscious way of working, you support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).
What is your Day to Day Mission
•Incoming and outgoing goods inspections according to instructions, using technical drawings.
•Maintenance of checklists, including digital form, to document the inspections.
•Release of inspected parts according to specified specifications (technical drawings, instructions).
•Reporting of defects and non-conforming products.
•Support in creating error reports for complaints about non-conforming parts to suppliers.
•Maintenance of statistics for evaluating causes of defects and assessing supplier quality.
•Problem-solving methods such as 8D report, 5-Why, and Ishikawa are not foreign concepts to you.
What you bring to the team
•A completed vocational training in a technical field, e.g. mechatronics, materials technology, model making, or similar.
•Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, preferably in additive manufacturing (including fiber composite materials, 3D printing).
•A high affinity for the UAV and aerospace sector and a high quality awareness.
•High self-motivation and the ability to independently drive your area of responsibility.
•An open, strong communicator, friendly and competent demeanor, making it easy for colleagues to see you as an internal expert.
•Communication in German and English comes naturally to you.
