Fliff operates a freemium entertainment platform spanning sports, casino, predictions, and collectibles. It reimagines social games and rewards-driven entertainment, giving players access to interactive games and rewards.
Responsibilities
•Take full ownership of backend features and improvements from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django
•Build and maintain integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, payment partners, and other third-party systems
•Work with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations
•Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across integration flows
•Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, prevent regressions, and improve test coverage and practices
•Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
•At least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language and strong experience in APIs and system integrations
•Proven experience integrating third-party APIs and a deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling
•Experience with observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting production integrations
•Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
•Experience designing architectures for highly loaded, scalable solutions
•Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring
•Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

•Automated testing and test coverage measurement, test automation strategy development
•Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana
•Sports or betting industry experience
Conditions
•Contract is full-time
