•Planning, coordination and monitoring of assembly activities – from the early project phase to successful handover to the customer
•Creation and management of assembly, schedule, capacity and resource plans as well as concepts for mobilization and site setup
•Close coordination with engineering, project management, procurement, customers, site personnel and external assembly partners
•Involvement in the selection and commissioning of assembly partners and subcontractors – including bid evaluation, coordination of scopes of work, and capacity and schedule planning
•Creation and coordination of quality documentation, such as ITPs, checklists and work and safety instructions
•Management of quality, costs, schedules and risks during project execution, with transparent reporting to project management
•Active promotion of a consistent EHS culture and ensuring compliance with labor, environmental and safety requirements
•Early identification of risks and opportunities around assembly activities and development of appropriate measures together with the project team
•Clear communication of unsafe situations and consistently stopping work when necessary to protect people
Your Profile
•Completed technical training with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman – alternatively a degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or a comparable field
•Several years of experience in assembly planning, construction or assembly coordination, site management or project management of complex energy or industrial facilities
•Ideally experience in substation, high-voltage, GIS, AIS or FACTS projects; experience from power generation or demanding plant construction is also very welcome
•Practical experience working with assembly partners and subcontractors, and a solid understanding of schedule, capacity, quality and cost management
•Sound understanding of EHS as well as knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, for example VDE, DGUV and project-specific safety requirements
•Structured way of working, decisiveness even under time pressure, and clear, binding communication with various internal and external stakeholders
•Willingness to travel within Germany of about 20%
