Caya

Product marketing manager

In short

Product Marketing Manager role at a B2B SaaS company that automates document handling, translating technical product features into clear messaging for customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities span value proposition development, feature adoption campaigns, onboarding communication, and content across the customer journey, working closely with Product, Sales and Customer Success. Requires at least 2 years of product marketing/go-to-market/content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, plus business-fluent German and English. Hybrid role based in Berlin, requiring office presence 2–3 times a week in Kreuzberg.

About the role
Caya takes document work off companies' hands: mail and digital documents automatically land on our platform, are read, checked and passed on to the tools our customers already use. It sounds simple—but there's quite a bit of technology behind it. That's where you come in. As a Product Marketing Manager, you are the translator between our product and the people who use it. You turn complex features into clear, relevant and convincing messages, so our target customers understand what Caya can do and want to use it.
Responsibilities
•You work your way deeply into the product, technical details and roadmap and turn them into messages that resonate.
•You sharpen the value proposition for different stakeholders (e.g. CFOs, IT managers, Operations) and communicate it consistently from the first contact to "Now I understand what this does for me."
•You make sure customers actually use the features. For example, through in-app communication and email campaigns, you introduce users to new and existing features, increase adoption and customer retention. You measure this using concrete numbers, not gut feeling.
•You shape the communication that leads new customers to their first success, with a particular focus on direct bookings through the website. You make sure that someone who signs up independently quickly understands how Caya works and experiences its value in their everyday work.
•You translate technical features into clear, benefit-oriented content across the entire customer journey: short videos and tutorials, website content, sales materials, social media content and ads.
•You build a genuine understanding of the market and customers: you know target groups, pain points and competitors, and use these insights to create strong communication.
•You establish feedback loops with Product, Sales and Customer Success, collect user feedback and use it to derive concrete improvements to messaging and content.
•You are part of the Marketing team, but work closely with Product, Sales and Customer Success as the connecting element between our product and our customers.
Milestones
•After 2 months, you know our product, target groups and their pain points in detail. You have spoken with Product, Sales and CS and understand where our communication works well today and where it does not.
•After 3 months, you have sharpened the core messages for our most important target groups and published initial content. For example, revised product communication on the website or an initial feature adoption campaign.
•After 6 months, at least one measurable campaign is running for each pillar (external communication, Feature Adoption, Onboarding), and you have established a feedback loop to continuously improve messaging and content.
Requirements
•At least 2 years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market or content marketing. Ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
•You can package complex technical subjects into simple, creative and convincing stories and create the famous aha moment.
•A strong interest in B2B technology and software. You are quick and eager to learn about new topics.
•You move effortlessly between creative and analytical work, think in terms of goals, KPIs and trade-offs, and make well-founded decisions.
•You are a strong communicator and feel comfortable interacting with Marketing, Product, Sales and CS.
•Business-fluent German and English.
What we offer
•You will become part of a strong Marketing team and work closely with experienced colleagues from Marketing, Product, Design, Motion Design and Tech—you are not on your own.
•You will have real creative freedom and actively shape how Caya positions its products in the market and scales them.
•You can expect an open, warm and ambitious team with a strong sense of togetherness—remotely, in the office or at team events.
•Hybrid working: you can choose flexibly whether you want to work from home or in the office. However, you must live in Berlin and be willing to meet your colleagues 2–3 times a week in our great office in Kreuzberg.
•Caya supports you when working from home with the appropriate equipment (laptop, monitor, chair, desk, etc.).
•Attractive benefits include a subsidy for Urban Sports, BVG or other mobility providers.
•We do not have a rigid 9-to-5 working model. It is important to us to combine flexibility and efficiency. You decide how you work best and what you need to do so. As long as the performance is there and we achieve great things together, anything is possible.
