About the Role
At GROPYUS, digital products connect manufacturing equipment, production systems and operational data to create a scalable and reliable production environment. As Product Manager for our Production Platform, you will shape solutions that support production control, validation and simulation, while improving operational transparency across our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
•Own end-to-end product development, from discovery and problem definition through delivery, adoption and continuous improvement.
•Translate factory needs and business objectives into clear product vision, roadmaps, priorities and actionable requirements.
•Shape solutions for manufacturing-system integration, operational data availability, and the validation and simulation of production processes and capabilities.
•Collaborate closely with software engineering, automation, industrial engineering, design and production teams to develop and launch effective solutions.
•Use operational data, user feedback and a deep understanding of production processes, machine capabilities and constraints to guide product decisions.
•Improve product performance by increasing transparency, standardizing solutions, reducing complexity and supporting operational and cost efficiency.
Requirements
•Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience with a strong Product Management track record.
•3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2B, industrial technology, manufacturing, automation or platform environments.
•Experience with software products and technical systems in manufacturing.
•Ability to translate business and operational needs into product roadmaps, requirements and scalable solutions, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to understand technical complexity, align different perspectives and set clear priorities.
•Willingness to collaborate regularly on site at our Richen production plant to understand factory workflows, validate solutions with users and support successful product adoption.
•Fluent English language skills.
Nice to have
•Familiarity with agile product development, including product briefs, process mapping, roadmap management, and the use of AI tools to improve daily productivity.
•Fluent German language skills.
