Responsibilities
•Lead the design of end-to-end experiences for Asana products and features
•Partner with cross-functional teams to identify customer problems, establish a vision, set strategy, and build and ship solutions
•Champion product excellence, raise the quality bar for the experience, and contribute to the design system
•Work across the organization to ship cohesive experiences that scale with the broader Asana product
•Facilitate and role-model human-centered problem-solving and foster co-creation across the organization
•Learn new methods to solve complex problems and find new ways to deliver customer benefits: flow, efficiency, and engagement
•Help shape an intuitive, elegant product with a unified voice
Requirements
•Curious about AI tools and emerging technologies, and willing to learn and use them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
•5+ years of experience in product design
•Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of shipping high-quality interaction and interface design
•Skilled in driving a human-centered design process, communicating design decisions with research- and data-informed rationale, and collaborating to ship end-to-end features at scale
•Experience designing and shipping web, desktop, and/or native mobile applications
•Creative problem-solver who uses divergent and iterative methods to develop concepts from initial ideas into polished designs
•Open, curious, and growth-minded
•Customer-centric, able to elicit non-obvious customer needs, synthesize research, understand users deeply, and define problems
