About Bedrock
At Bedrock, that's what we do. We are a European tech venture, powered by leading European broadcasters (M6 and Bertelsmann / RTL Group) that shapes the standards of streaming in Europe. We build and power leading media streaming platforms for some of Europe's biggest SVOD/AVOD players (M6+, Videoland, RTL+…), dealing with 45+ millions of users. Bedrock is looking for a Principal Product Designer to shape the experience we are building for our clients across iOS, Android, Web and connected TV.
Responsibilities
•Own defining moments across browsing, discovery, playback and live experiences, taking them from initial concepts through user validation to shipped products.
•Use AI and code in your daily design and prototyping work.
•Help designers adopt effective workflows for prototyping, research synthesis and design-to-code, and partner with the Design System team to build an AI-native Design System.
•Shape how the experience moves, responds and feels.
•Work closely with engineers to deliver that quality across every platform.
•Solve complex design challenges spanning multiple squads and product domains.
•Turn successful solutions into reusable patterns and shared Design System standards.
•Provide clear, constructive feedback and mentor fellow designers.
•Improve the templates, standards and tooling that make high-quality work repeatable.
Requirements
•Strong interaction design skills, including complex flows, states and high-fidelity or code-based prototypes, supported by user validation.
•Practical experience with AI-assisted design, prototyping and design-to-code workflows, with the judgment to critically assess AI-generated output.
•An understanding of front-end code.
•Strong UI craft across Web, iOS, Android and connected TV, including focus handling and D-pad navigation.
•Depth in motion design: principles, transitions, micro-interactions and clear implementation specifications for engineering.
•Experience contributing to Design Systems through tokens, components and reusable patterns, with knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
•The ability to influence across teams without formal authority, explain design decisions and trade-offs, and coach others through actionable feedback.
•A collaborative, adaptable and customer-focused approach, curiosity for new methods, and the ability to work effectively in English.
Nice to have
•Hands-on coding experience is a plus.
