Kramp

Pricing AI & Data Analytics

In short

This is an internship on the Pricing team at Kramp, building a generative AI assistant (using LLMs and tools like Microsoft Copilot) that answers pricing-related questions by combining business context with data. The intern works closely with Pricing, Data Science and Pricing Managers, reporting to the Head of Pricing, and needs to be pursuing a relevant Master's degree with experience in Python, R, SQL or BigQuery. The role is hybrid, based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

About the Role
Turn data into insights and help shape the future of pricing! Would you like to explore how AI can make complex pricing information more accessible and valuable? Join our Pricing team and help us develop a generative AI assistant that enables colleagues to get fast, reliable answers to their pricing questions. What makes this internship unique is that it is about more than solving a technical problem. Besides understanding how large language models (LLMs) work, you will dive into the business to discover what information colleagues really need to make better pricing decisions. This combination of technology and business understanding gives you a tangible project with a direct impact on the organisation.
Tasks
As a Pricing AI & Data Analytics Intern, you will work closely with the Pricing team to develop a generative AI assistant that can answer questions related to pricing. You will define the right context – the relevant data, definitions and business logic – and let an LLM process that context so it can provide accurate answers. To do this well, you will need to understand both how LLMs work and what information the business needs, transforming complex pricing data into accessible and actionable insights.
Your specific tasks include:
•Contribute to the design and development of a generative AI assistant that can understand and respond to pricing-related questions.
•Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand which pricing questions they have and what information they need to answer them.
•Extract, process and analyse large datasets from different sources and structure them into the right context for the LLM, making relevant pricing information accessible and usable.
•Explore and apply AI tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Copilot and other relevant solutions, to develop and improve the assistant's capabilities.
•Use tools to analyse data, identify patterns and support the development of the solution.
•Collaborate with Pricing and Data Science colleagues to translate business needs into technical solutions and continuously improve the assistant.
Requirements
You are curious, analytical and enthusiastic about exploring how data and AI can solve real business challenges. You enjoy working with complex datasets, experimenting with new technologies and are just as interested in understanding the business as in understanding the technology. You like translating technical possibilities into practical solutions.
•You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
•You have a strong understanding of data analysis and experience working with large datasets. You are comfortable querying, processing and interpreting data.
•You have experience with programming and data tools such as Python, R, SQL and/or Google BigQuery.
•Experience with Tableau or other data visualisation tools is a plus.
•You have a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and generative AI assistants.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, large language models (LLMs) or similar technologies is an advantage.
•You have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, are able to break down complex questions and enjoy translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
If you do not fully meet all requirements for this role, and you think you would be a good match, you are still encouraged to apply.

Conditions
You will be part of the Pricing team and report directly to the Head of Pricing. You will work closely with the other members of the team.
