Responsibilities
•AWS & Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and evolve global AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
•Kubernetes & Containers: Own core K8s platform components, ingress, networking (VPC), scaling strategies, and secrets management
•Observability & Reliability: Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Datadog, OpenSearch, and Fluentd
•Developer Enablement: Act as an expert consultant to internal application teams, helping them deploy microservices safely via GitLab CI
•On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call duties to guarantee 24/7 uptime
Requirements
•Experience: Minimum 7+ years (Staff) of dedicated Platform / SRE experience in cloud environments
•AWS & IaC Mastery: Deep knowledge of AWS cloud architecture managed strictly through Terraform and Terragrunt
•Kubernetes Expertise: Hands-on operational experience with production Docker & Kubernetes clusters at scale
•Coding Ability: Ability to read and write Go code (basics to intermediate) for scripting, debugging, or platform tooling
•Location: Based in Hamburg, Germany (or currently residing in Germany with willingness to relocate to Hamburg)
