About the Team
ESET's penetration testing team, besides security products, offers security services. We have been providing penetration tests on the Czech and Slovak market for more than 10 years and have gradually grown into one of the largest providers of these services. The areas we work in include testing of web, mobile and desktop applications, testing of network infrastructure and OS, social engineering, various technical audits (e.g. cloud service architecture or IoT devices), source code analysis, red team testing, providing threat intelligence, and many more.
What We Expect From You
•Independently handle an entire project – from collaborating on preparing tests and test scenarios, through the test execution itself, to writing the final report
•Mastering several different types of tests in the areas we work in
•Ability to communicate – speak up when you encounter a problem and support other team members
What You Should Be Able to Do / What You'll Need for the Position
•Knowledge and general overview of security issues and IT technologies
•Ability to learn quickly and independently find security vulnerabilities
•At least basic knowledge of programming
•Fluent Slovak/Czech and knowledge of English (for writing reports)
•Good communication skills
•Practical experience with penetration testing, at least 50 completed tests
Additional Experience That May Be Interesting
•Practical experience operating IT in companies of various sizes
•Practical experience with commercial SW development, whether for servers, workstations, or mobile devices
•Practical experience in the field of network technologies
•Practical experience with IT architecture design and cloud solution operations
•Knowledge of reverse engineering
•Deeper knowledge of cryptology, possibly certifications related to this topic (CEH, CPTE, OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, …)
Part of the selection process may include a challenge that the candidate will complete over the following weeks according to their time availability, where we will practically verify the candidate's skills in finding bugs and writing reports.
Work Location
Prague, in selected cases it is possible to arrange working from Brno or Bratislava.
