Organic Growth and Discovery Lead (SEO/AEO)

About the Role

You will define the organic discovery strategy across search and AI answer engines. You will own onsite and offsite content, authority building, answer-engine visibility, reporting, experimentation, and trust signals. You will partner on technical discoverability work and connect organic and AI-sourced traffic to installs, new members, and acquisition efficiency.

Requirements

•8+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, organic growth, or growth marketing

•At least 2 years of hands-on AEO, GEO, or AI search optimization experience

•Experience leading cross-functional initiatives for consumer products

•Demonstrated success building organic acquisition channels measured by business outcomes and cost efficiency

•Experience with onsite content strategy, topical authority, search and prompt intent, writer briefs, writing, and editing

•Experience earning offsite placements, coverage, or citations through partnerships, affiliates, or digital PR

•Hands-on experience improving AI answer-engine visibility and measuring it

•Technical and data fluency with site audits, GA4, Search Console, spreadsheets, or SQL

Responsibilities

•Define the strategy and roadmap for organic discovery across search and AI answer engines

•Own the onsite content portfolio, including content architecture, research, intent mapping, editorial roadmap, briefs, writing, editing, refreshes, consolidation, and pruning

•Build offsite authority through placements, coverage, and citations

•Measure visibility in AI answer engines, including citations, share of voice, and accuracy

•Partner on technical discoverability work and tooling

•Build reporting connecting organic and AI-sourced traffic to installs, new members, and acquisition cost efficiency

•Maintain trust signals, sourcing, author attribution, factual accuracy, and compliance alignment
