Responsibilities
•Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo
•Define and evolve mobile application architecture, including navigation, state management, and reusable components
•Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services
•Implement authentication, authorization, secure data storage, and session management
•Develop features using native capabilities such as location, camera, push notifications, and device storage
•Handle offline scenarios, caching, and data synchronization
•Optimize application performance, stability, and resource usage
•Troubleshoot and resolve defects, crashes, and platform-specific issues
•Write and maintain unit and UI tests
•Lead code reviews and contribute to mobile coding standards and best practices
•Use GitHub Copilot and other approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, while ensuring code quality and correctness
•Mentor mid-level and junior developers and collaborate with Product, QA, and Backend teams
Requirements
•At least 6 years of professional software development experience, of which at least 4 years with React Native
•Practical experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem
•Very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
•Good understanding of React concepts, hooks, component architecture, and state management (e.g. Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query)
•Experience with mobile navigation, local storage, and asynchronous data handling
•Good understanding of iOS and Android platform differences and the mobile application lifecycle
•Experience integrating with REST APIs and implementing authentication and secure storage
•Experience with debugging and performance optimization of mobile applications
•Experience with mobile testing tools (e.g. Jest, React Native Testing Library)
•Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools, while maintaining responsibility for code quality and correctness
•Experience with Git and code review processes
•Good communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
