WE'RE HIRING | MINE MANAGER
Be part of establishing a new mining operation from the ground up.
Bedrock Manganese is seeking an experienced and results-driven Mine Manager to join our Greenfields open-pit manganese mining project in the Northern Cape, South Africa.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in mine establishment, operational readiness and the transition into production.
Key requirements:
•Recognised qualification in Mining Engineering or a related mining discipline.
•Minimum 10 years' relevant mining experience, including at least five years in senior operational management.
•Proven open-pit mining experience.
•Experience in Greenfields development, mine establishment or operational start-up.
•Sound knowledge of South African mining legislation and statutory compliance.
•Ability to meet the applicable competency and legal requirements for appointment under section 3(1)(a) of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
A relevant Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency and manganese or comparable bulk commodity mining experience will be advantageous.
