Leasing Manager

A day in the life
The Leasing Manager supports the performance and growth of Prologis's India portfolio by developing leasing opportunities across existing assets and new business prospects. The role builds relationships with customers, brokers and other market stakeholders, and translates customer requirements into clear leasing proposals.
Working closely with internal teams, the Leasing Manager coordinates lease discussions, property visits and approvals. Success in the role means maintaining a well-managed leasing pipeline and contributing to occupancy and positive customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
•Develop and manage leasing opportunities across existing assets and new business prospects in India.
•Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers and relevant market stakeholders.
•Understand customer requirements and prepare clear leasing proposals and presentations.
•Coordinate lease discussions and negotiations with relevant internal stakeholders.
•Arrange and support property visits and inspections, ensuring customer requirements are understood and followed up.
•Manage lease renewals and customer discussions to support retention and continued occupancy.
•Track leasing activity, opportunities and next steps, and share timely updates with relevant stakeholders.
Building blocks for success
Required
•Experience managing leasing activity or in customer-facing commercial real estate work.
•Ability to prepare clear business proposals and presentations.
•Ability to build productive relationships and coordinate work across internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred
•Experience in commercial or industrial real estate leasing in India.
•Experience supporting lease negotiations, renewals and customer retention.
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
•Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
