Valletta Software is expanding its team: 2 Go positions — Lead and Architect.
We're looking for Go engineers at two levels to join our client's distributed team. If you're passionate about scalable systems and AI integration — this is for you!
Working hours: 09:00–18:00 CEST
Requirements (Lead Go Engineer)
•5–6+ years of commercial Go development
•2+ years as Team Lead / Lead Engineer
•Distributed systems, Go concurrency
•Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration / configuration
•Degree in IT
•CI/CD, stakeholder communication, mentoring senior engineers
•English — C1
•Nice to have: experience in insurance
Requirements (Go Architect)
•7+ years of software development, 4–5+ years of production Go
•Deep knowledge of Go: goroutines, channels, context, memory model
•Experience with AI/ML integration
•Designing distributed, microservice and high-load systems
•REST / gRPC APIs, relational databases, message brokers, Kubernetes, CI/CD
•Architectural reviews, ADRs, tech specs, stakeholder communication
•English — C1
•Nice to have: NoSQL, cloud-native (AWS/GCP/Azure), DDD/SRE, Architect/Staff experience, Java/Python/C++
Location (both roles)
