Your Role
As a Configuration Manager, you will handle and lead configuration management for our systems/products. You will be part of customer projects where you work closely with project managers and system owners, responsible for change management for systems and products.
You will also be part of a configuration management team, and lead change forums to ensure that the product structures of the products/systems are decided and revision-controlled.
Your main tasks:
•Plan and implement the configuration management process and ensure it is followed
•Be a natural point of contact for configuration-related questions and contribute to creating common understanding, collaboration, and knowledge sharing between different stakeholders in the projects
•Lead configuration change forums (CCB)
•Document baselines at project decision points
•Report configuration status for product information
•Participate in the work of developing the company's configuration management process
Arboga serves as the primary place of work for this position, as the majority of the business and projects are managed from there.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has worked as a configuration manager or similar and feels comfortable with the responsibility. You also have a genuine interest in both people and technology, while being solution-oriented. To succeed in this role, you need to be driven, proactive, meticulous but also flexible. We believe you thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility and lead. You have a structured way of working and the ability to manage and analyze larger amounts of product information and present a comprehensive picture from it.
Since the role involves many stakeholders and collaboration with others, you need good communication and collaboration skills. This role is important for ensuring that products are delivered with high quality and in accordance with the company's standards and the customer's requirements. You always look for ways to improve efficiency and reach set goals.
Qualifications for the position:
•A few years of experience in the above-mentioned, or at least similar, tasks
•Technical education or equivalent work experience
•Experience in system development
•Experience in the field of configuration management for complex systems
•Experience managing structured information in Product Data Management programs
•Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
