About the Role
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
•Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
•Work with cloud platforms and services to support the deployment, scalability, and reliability of applications.
•Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code, following software development best practices.
•Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
•Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA Engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
•Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
•Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions.
•Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
•Ensure application quality through automated testing, code quality standards, and continuous improvement.
•Share technical knowledge and support other team members when required.
Requirements
•5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
•Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
•Experience developing REST APIs and working with microservices architectures.
•Experience working with cloud environments, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
•Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
•Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
•Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
•Experience working in Agile environments, preferably Scrum or Kanban.
•Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and software testing best practices.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
•A proactive and technically autonomous professional.

Nice to Have
•Experience with frontend development using Angular or React.
•Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
•Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
•Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
•Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
•Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-native development.
•Experience contributing to technical design decisions and mentoring less experienced developers.
