About the Role
Agap2 is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with experience managing technology projects and strong technical knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures, especially Azure and Microsoft 365. The selected person will act as a link between the Infrastructure Manager and external technology providers, combining project coordination and supervision with the technical evaluation of solutions, ensuring their proper execution and alignment with the corporate technology strategy.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate and supervise infrastructure and Cloud projects, monitoring technology initiatives and ensuring their proper execution.
•Act as the main technical point of contact between the Infrastructure Manager, internal teams and external providers.
•Participate in project planning, monitoring and coordination, identifying dependencies, risks, priorities and possible deviations.
•Review and validate providers' technical proposals, ensuring their feasibility and alignment with business needs and corporate strategy.
•Supervise initiatives related to Microsoft Azure and Cloud Strategy, including infrastructure optimization, virtual machine sizing and FinOps strategies.
•Coordinate Cloud governance and security projects, supervising aspects related to RBAC, PIM and permission segregation.
•Participate in Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online initiatives, especially standardizing retention policies and corporate messaging.
•Supervise SQL Server database migration projects to Azure, coordinating technical activities and monitoring providers.
•Collaborate in evaluating and integrating corporate Artificial Intelligence solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
•Monitor project status, reporting progress, incidents and risks to the Infrastructure Manager.
•Identify opportunities to improve the management, governance and evolution processes of technology infrastructures.
Requirements
•Experience managing and coordinating IT infrastructure and Cloud projects, with the ability to supervise different technology initiatives.
•Strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Azure, Microsoft 365 and corporate infrastructures.
•Experience working with Microsoft Azure, understanding its services, architecture and main infrastructure components.
•Knowledge of Cloud Strategy and FinOps, including resource optimization and cost management in Azure environments.
•Knowledge of Cloud security and governance, especially RBAC, PIM and permission management.
•Experience coordinating external technology providers, monitoring projects and validating technical proposals.
•Ability to understand and evaluate technical infrastructure solutions, without needing to perform administration or development tasks directly.
•Experience planning, monitoring and managing technology projects, identifying risks, dependencies and possible deviations.
•Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
•Ability to work autonomously and act as a technical reference point when coordinating infrastructure projects.
Nice to Have
•Knowledge of Azure Arc and Azure Migrate, especially in SQL Server migration projects to Azure.
•Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and Power BI.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry and their integration into corporate environments.
•Experience in technology transformation, infrastructure modernization and Cloud governance projects.
•Knowledge of SQL Server databases and migration projects to Cloud environments.
