Responsibilities
•Lead the development of complex features and projects
•Ensure the overall quality and performance of the backend codebase
•Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices
•Lead code reviews and foster a culture of quality
•Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
•Handle and resolve critical incidents and provide post-mortem analysis
•Mentor mid-level and junior developers, providing guidance and support
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the development process and codebase
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
•5 years of experience in a backend programming environment, with at least 2 years of current experience in Go
•Expert knowledge of Golang, including advanced concepts and performance tuning
•Mastery of distributed systems, design patterns, and implementation
•Expertise in designing high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
•Exceptional problem-solving abilities
•Good understanding of SQL and database design
•Collaborative mindset and strong team-player skills
•Experience mentoring and developing other developers
Nice to have
•PostgreSQL, BigQuery, ETL/ELT experience
