General Ledger Controller
Warsaw, Poland - hybrid
GL Controller reports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
•Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards.
•Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes.
•Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives.
•Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management.
•Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries.
Preferred Qualifications
•University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar.
•At least 2+ years of experience within SSC environment in a related process area and/or accounting (preferably in General Ledger or A2R area).
•Knowledge of ERP systems.
•Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
•Strong willingness to learn and develop.
