About HyperHug
HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. It develops Oxide: Survival Island, a multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
•Design and manage LiveOps features, including events, passes, and offers, from concept and scheduling through launch, performance analysis, and iteration
•Contribute to core gameplay design, including reworking and improving core mechanics, and design meta systems such as social features, FTUE, progression, and retention
•Collaborate with 2D/3D art teams by defining requirements, briefing leads, and managing asset pipelines for in-game features and content
•Configure and implement game content in Unity
•Run A/B tests, analyze the performance of events, passes, and offers, and use findings to improve future iterations
Requirements
•3+ Years of Game Design experience focused on mid-core/hardcore multiplayer mobile games
•Strong experience designing LiveOps and monetization systems and integrating them into the game's economy and progression
•Experience managing the full LiveOps loop: events, offers, testing, scheduling, and performance analysis
•Successfully shipped monetization features with measurable KPI impact
•Strong hands-on experience with Unity
•Proven experience working in cross-functional teams across development, art, analytics, and marketing
•Extensive player experience and a strong interest in the shooter genre
•English at B1+ level
