Responsibilities
•Create all in-game 2D animations for PokerArena
•Design and produce static and animated cosmetics sold to players
•Maintain a consistent, high-quality visual language across the game
•Use AI tools as a daily part of the work
•Deliver quickly and take action rather than relying on excessive discussion, escalation, and delay
•Contribute to rapid iteration by shipping quickly and learning
•Improve quality and efficiency across the team
Requirements
•At least 5 years of experience creating 2D art and animation for shipped games
•A portfolio demonstrating expert-level 2D animation and motion design, ideally including monetized cosmetics
•Poker knowledge at least at the level of a non-professional enthusiast
•Clear, professional English communication skills, both written and spoken
•A proven history of delivering at pace
•Experience with AI assistance
•Reliably authentic, embraces ownership, takes initiative, and focuses on delivery over process
•Comfortable with a remote-first culture that values written communication over excessive meetings
•Views AI tools as an opportunity to scale impact
Conditions
•Work from anywhere all year; attend a two-week annual in-person bootcamp
•No direct reports; the role reports to the Chief Product Officer
