Tasks
•Design, build, optimize, and maintain CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality
•Develop and improve product features across the full product stack
•Participate in the product development process from scoping projects to measuring their success and iterating based on feedback
•Maintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve codebases and processes
•Work with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale
•Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, resolve critical issues promptly, and maintain system uptime
Requirements
•4+ years of experience in a software engineering role
•Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
•Experience with both frontend and backend development
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Proficiency with Django and React
•Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
•Track record of taking responsibility and ownership of core product areas
•Strong attention to detail and a user-centric focus
•Experience making data-driven decisions about products and processes
•Experience building a positive remote-first culture
Nice to have
•Proficiency with Python and Django
•Proficiency with Typescript, React, Cypress, and/or Chakra UI
