Alesium is a Limassol-based startup lab founded in 2008 that is building a fintech project.
Responsibilities
•Build, design, ship, and run systems in production
•Direct AI coding agents, review their code, and own the results
•Test ideas quickly with small experiments and remain open to different solutions
•Adapt plans when a better approach emerges
•Help hire and lead the engineering team as it grows
Requirements
•Know TypeScript well across backend and frontend and understand how it works under the hood
•Have shipped systems where bugs can cost real money, such as fintech, payments, banking, e-commerce, or another high-load product
•Build with AI coding agents every day, direct them, review their code, and own the result
•Work independently on well-defined problems for one or two weeks and demonstrate a working result

Conditions
•€65,000–95,000 gross per year
•Work permit sponsorship and transfer; health insurance and legal support
•Work permit transfer fees and paperwork are covered, with the switch timed around the notice period
•AI tools and hardware are provided
•Must live in Cyprus or be ready to relocate there
•The working language is English; Russian and Ukrainian are welcome
•Process: a 30-minute introductory call, followed by a working session of about 2 hours using usual AI tools, then an offer
