About
Wearton is a personal stylist app that identifies users' colours from a selfie, organizes their clothes in a digital closet, and recommends outfits based on the weather and daily events. Its AI stylist answers questions in chat, and its virtual try-on feature shows clothing on users' photos. The app runs on iPhone, Android, the web, browser extensions, and ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server, with all clients sharing a TypeScript codebase.
Responsibilities
•Build features across the stack, from API routes and database migrations on Cloudflare Workers to the React web app, browser extension, and React Native app
•Work with LLMs and image models, including prompts, structured JSON output, daily limits, and cost per request
•Write automated tests for every change using Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, and Maestro e2e
•Ship small changes frequently through GitHub Actions and keep the API contract and documentation up to date
•Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code daily
Requirements
•5+ years of commercial development experience, primarily with TypeScript / JavaScript
•Strong React skills and production experience with React Native
•Backend experience with Node.js or serverless platforms, REST API design, and SQL
•Write automated tests by default
•Production experience with LLM APIs
•English B2 or higher
