About
VertoX is building an AI-powered real-time voice translation platform that translates speech while preserving the user's original voice, tone, and emotion. The company is incorporated in the USA (Delaware) and is preparing for its live launch.
Responsibilities
•Take ownership of the VertoX Web application using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
•Integrate the existing frontend with the backend and production API infrastructure
•Build the real-time translation experience, including live audio, streaming data, transcripts, captions, and voice output
•Work with WebRTC, WebSockets, audio streaming, and real-time communication
•Build and maintain core SaaS functionality: authentication, profiles, settings, subscriptions, billing, usage, and account management
•Build the frontend for VertoX API, including API keys, usage, API playground, and developer-facing functionality
•Own frontend architecture, performance, reliability, and long-term scalability
•Collaborate with the AI/ML and Backend engineers on the core product
Requirements
•Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
•Production experience building real-time voice/audio applications
•Hands-on experience with WebRTC and WebSockets
•Understanding of audio streaming, STT/TTS, latency, buffering, and real-time data flows
•Strong experience integrating frontend applications with production backend APIs
•Experience with modern authentication systems such as JWT and OAuth
•Strong understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization
•Ability to work independently and take full ownership of your work
•Long-term commitment, willingness to take responsibility, and interest in growing with the company
Nice to have
•Experience with AI/ML products, speech translation, Voice AI or conversational AI
•Web Audio API / MediaRecorder
•Previous startup experience
