About the role
For one of our German locations, we are looking for you as:
Fachbetreuer - Real Estate (m/w/d)
In our Real Estate department, we support national and international companies in the real estate industry. We maintain contact and negotiate with relevant insurers in order to place our customers' risks at a competitive price. A high-quality insurance scope and favorable insurance terms are our top priority. In addition to daily specialist support of our customers, we also support the claims department when claims occur and occasionally accompany our risk engineers on upcoming inspections. Our field of activity naturally also includes providing specialist support to our sales unit in acquiring new customers.
Your tasks
•Independent and self-responsible consulting and support of our real estate clients
•Obtaining insurance quotes as well as quote evaluation and preparation of decision templates
•Placement of coverages, follow-up on coverage commitments, and preparation of insurance documents
•Ongoing and independent specialist support as well as renewal of insurance documents
•Management and coordination of international insurance programs
•Close collaboration with sales, the claims department, our accounting, and risk engineers
•Specialist support in initiating new customer relationships through analysis of insurance needs and development of corresponding coverage concepts
•Direct contact with customers and insurers, both by phone and in person. This also includes occasional business trips.
What you bring
•Successfully completed training as an insurance salesman/saleswoman or equivalent, or a comparable degree
•Several years of experience in the real estate sector (broker and/or insurer)
•Several years of experience in real estate-relevant lines of insurance, especially building insurance, terrorism insurance, and liability insurance (broker and/or insurer)
•Initial experience in the conception and placement of international insurance programs is welcome
•Good MS Office skills
•Enjoyment of the real estate industry, negotiation skills, communication skills, and teamwork
•Good German and English skills; an additional foreign language is optional
