Description
Mindia KZ is developing a product for the construction industry with AI capabilities intended to deliver value to users.
Responsibilities
•Lead the engineering team by assigning responsibilities, conducting code reviews, and contributing to hiring and engineer development
•Spend 40–60% of the role on hands-on development: implement key features, test them, solve complex technical problems, and ship changes for real users
•Make architectural decisions that account for reliability, security, performance, and cost
•Coordinate work between engineers and AI agents by preparing context, assigning tasks, and verifying results
•Develop the product's AI capabilities, evaluate their quality and user value, and identify regressions
•Maintain stable production operations after release and resolve production issues
Requirements
•Demonstrated experience as a Team Lead, including leading developers, assigning work, making technical decisions, developing engineers, and taking accountability for team results
•Experience taking a product from development through production launch and supporting it afterward, including maintaining stability, troubleshooting, and further development
•Strong current engineering skills and deep proficiency in at least one production technology stack. Able to work with production code and independently investigate complex technical issues
•Understanding of application architecture, APIs, data, security, and production operations
•Practical experience building and launching LLM-based solutions, including working with context, knowledge, tools, or AI agents, and understanding model capabilities and limitations
•Product thinking, including understanding user needs, setting priorities, and delivering working results
Nice to have
•Experience with B2B products, enterprise integrations, CAD, BIM, or digital products for the construction industry
