Responsibilities
The main objective of the role will be to develop automation mechanisms that allow changes to the network infrastructure to be applied through a controller using Ansible. The professional will develop automation solutions in Python, integrated with GitHub and its Actions for CI/CD, using NetBox as the source of truth for the infrastructure inventory and desired state, ensuring that defined and validated changes are applied in a controlled, consistent, secure, and auditable way. Integration tests will be performed using Robot Framework.
Requirements
•Experience developing with Python, particularly creating programs, integrations, and processing structured data.
•Knowledge of REST APIs and the JSON and YAML formats.
•Experience with Git and GitHub, including repository management, pull requests, and code review.
•Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
•Knowledge of automated testing and code validation.
•Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Datacenter Switching.
•Ability to analyze, solve problems, and develop reliable and scalable solutions.
•Knowledge of tools such as Ansible and libraries such as pytest, Requests, or HTTPX.
