About the Role
A Data Engineer role focused on designing, developing and optimizing data platforms and data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The mission combines cloud-native data engineering, data integration, analytics and consulting, helping organizations transform data into actionable insights while leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop and maintain data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
•Build and optimize data pipelines and data integration processes
•Develop scalable data processing solutions using GCP services
•Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation and orchestration workflows
•Work with large datasets and support analytics and reporting initiatives
•Develop SQL and Python solutions for Data Engineering and Business Intelligence projects
•Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across the data lifecycle
•Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions
•Contribute to cloud architecture and data platform design decisions
•Support Business Intelligence and data analytics use cases
•Produce technical documentation and project deliverables
•Apply cloud and data engineering best practices
•Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
•Act as a consultant, providing guidance and recommendations to clients
•Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends and cloud capabilities
Requirements
•Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies
•Strong experience in Data Engineering environments
•Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions
•Strong SQL knowledge
•Strong Python development skills
•Experience delivering Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence projects
•Experience working with cloud-native data architectures
•Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
•Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
•Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders
•Strong documentation and organizational skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Customer-oriented mindset
•Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
