Responsibilities
•Design, build, and maintain a scalable, multi-stage data warehouse infrastructure focused on Snowflake
•Manage ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from various sources
•Implement and optimize dbt for data transformation, modeling, and documentation
•Implement data testing procedures, including unit tests, integration tests, and validation checks
•Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights
•Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
•5+ years of experience in data engineering
•Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing
•Proficiency in dbt for data transformation and modeling
•Strong expertise in data ingestion using UI tools and code-based tools
•Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
•Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance
•Knowledge of data testing methodologies and tools
•Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or Go
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
•A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree
Conditions
•Temporary contract for 3–6 months
