Responsibilities
•Implement foundational data systems
•Develop cloud infrastructure to store, transform, and process data at scale, with security, reliability, and future growth in mind
•Explain design choices and align stakeholders
•Help client teams make informed decisions about their data landscape
•Contribute to data products as part of mixed teams of Xebia and client engineers
•Work on projects of varying lengths and with different clients
Requirements
•At least 3 years of relevant work experience
•Dutch and English proficiency
•Practical experience putting systems into production and building robust, scalable systems
•Familiarity with software engineering, cloud, provisioning, streaming, and automation
•Able to work under pressure, use open-source technology, code, script, and work collaboratively while explaining technical choices
•Must live in the Netherlands; relocation is not currently available

•Contributions to open-source projects

•Familiarity with Airflow, Dagster, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Docker, Terraform, AWS, Azure, or GCP
