Responsibilities
•Analyze, document and validate business requirements within Business Intelligence projects
•Design and develop semantic models and data structures for reporting and analysis
•Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business needs into insights and analytical solutions
•Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, data models and transformation rules
•Ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of the data used in analyses
•Participate in and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
•Develop and optimize datasets, metrics and analytical models to support decision-making
•Create functional and technical documentation associated with Business Intelligence solutions
•Provide support and training to users of analytical tools
•Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting, modeling and data governance practices
Requirements
•Degree in Data Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar (preferred)
•Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field
•More than 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or in similar roles
•Solid knowledge of SQL for data analysis, exploration and transformation
•Experience in dimensional modeling for Business Intelligence, namely Star Schema and/or Snowflake Schema
•Strong ability to analyze and interpret data from transactional systems and analytical platforms
•Experience building datasets, semantic models and analytical layers
•Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
•Ability to translate business requirements into data models and technical specifications
•Experience collaborating with technical teams, functional areas and business stakeholders
•Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
•Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking and results orientation
•Good communication skills and ability to present insights
•Knowledge of English (minimum B2)
•Residence in Portugal — applications from outside Portugal will not be considered for this opportunity
