Wood is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focused on the Oil, Gas and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is on-site.
Wood Colombia is seeking a professional in civil engineering or related fields, with 5 to 10 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector, to work as a Structural Engineer. Work base: Bogotá.

Knowledge and Responsibilities
•Development of detailed engineering drawings for metal structures.
•Creation of 3D models of metal structures on multidisciplinary design platforms.
•Development of foundation drawings and reinforced concrete structures.
•Preparation of concrete reinforcement drawings and construction details.
•Generation of rebar bending schedules and reinforcement steel detailing.
•Calculation and quantification of materials (MTO/BOM).
•Coordination and integration of models with Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Equipment and Process disciplines.
•Extraction of drawings, isometrics, elevations, sections, construction details and reports from 3D models.
•Application of international standards and client specifications in the industrial sector.
•Participation in interdisciplinary reviews and quality control processes for deliverables.
Technical Knowledge
Mandatory advanced experience in:
•AutoCAD.
•CADWorx.
Also required/used:
•AutoCAD Plant 3D.
•SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
•AVEVA E3D.
Desirable knowledge of any of the following:
•Revit.
•BIM methodologies.
•Navisworks.
•Tekla Structures.
