About the Role
Are you studying industrial engineering or business management and looking to gain valuable experience in business analysis and strategy in an international work environment? We are looking for a Business Analyst Trainee to join our Strategy team in Espoo. You will support the team in gathering and summarising information and preparing materials that support management decision-making.
Responsibilities
•Creating impactful presentations and management materials by gathering and summarising information on different business topics
•Assisting with data analysis and reporting for strategy work and ongoing projects
•Supporting strategy and strategic projects, including topics related to artificial intelligence
•Contributing to market intelligence activities and preparing a weekly newsletter
You will work with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams and business areas. You can be based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, with Espoo as the main location for the team. We work in a hybrid model, with an expectation to work on-site three days per week.
What Kind of Talent Are We Looking For
This role is ideal for a student who is eager to learn more about business analysis and strategy. We especially value curiosity, a proactive approach, good teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to new topics. As our work environment is highly international, good English skills and confidence in working in an international environment are important.
•Ongoing master's studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a related field
•Basic understanding of project management, data analysis and management reporting through studies or previous work experience
•Interest in Geopolitics and Artificial Intelligence
•Good Microsoft Office skills
•Good written and spoken English
•Familiarity with SharePoint or Power BI and previous experience in similar tasks are considered an advantage
