About the role
Become a business analyst at DXC. You will be part of a strong team that finds solutions together. The team is strongest when everyone pulls together, even though each person has responsibility for specific tasks and subsystems.
DXC is responsible for supporting the annual tax statement ("årsopgørelse"). Together we ensure that the calculations in the systems add up, and we pay attention to the details and data that form the basis of tax legislation. We must ensure that the annual statement is understandable and presented in an accessible way.
As a business analyst at DXC, you will among other things:
•Implement new legislation underlying the final tax calculation on the annual statement.
•Describe business requirements down into IT systems and participate in testing of the solutions. We get a feel for the business's needs and analyze together to find the best solution. We continuously test the system to ensure it functions optimally and calculates correctly.
•Map processes and prepare process documentation, which is continuously maintained.
•Participate in internal and cross-functional business development projects, for example working on simplifying the tax calculation area.
•Respond to inquiries about tax calculations. Contribute to system optimization and legislative preparatory work. Some of the questions are quite tricky, and we need to keep a clear head when answering.
You need to be able to do a lot as a business analyst, and no one can from the start. Therefore, as a person, you need a great deal of patience, curiosity, and readiness to listen actively.
Who are you?
You are structured, have an analytical mindset, and are curious. Above all, you are engaged, persistent, independent, and able to get things done — and also a colleague who makes things run smoothly with good humor. You may have a tax-related understanding, but your analytical approach is the most important thing, as we often work with subtle tax-related issues.
Your educational background can span widely, but we care more about the content of your qualifications and your experience than the title of your education. It is important that you have technical understanding, without necessarily being a developer, but you are able to bridge the gap between customer and colleagues so there is a shared understanding. It is important that you are adaptable in relation to the customer, colleagues, and tasks in daily life — this way we ensure we come "all the way around" a given task or issue.
We expect that you:
•have experience as a business analyst, possibly from working with a financial system
•have a technical understanding so you can translate the customer's requirements into a more technical "language" that developers and testers can work with
•are ready to take part in testing system solutions
•it is a clear advantage if you have experience preparing process documentation or requirement specifications
•preferably have experience with Jira, Confluence, and SQL
•speak and write fluent Danish and English
You are motivated by finding solutions to tasks, even when they are difficult to approach and complex to understand. It is a plus if you can both keep an overview of tasks and stay calm when things move fast, and find enjoyment in diving into details.
