Marsh Nederland has a specialized Marine Hull practice that advises clients in the maritime sector on complex risk and insurance matters. Within an international and substantively strong environment, you work together with colleagues from Europe and beyond on tailor-made solutions for a broad and diverse client portfolio.
We are looking for a Broker Marine Hull who can independently manage complex files, identify commercial opportunities, and is strong at building sustainable relationships with clients and insurers.
What you will do
•Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of complex national and international files;
•Advise clients on Marine Hull-related insurance and risk matters;
•Negotiate with insurers and guide placements, renewals and new policies;
•Develop and present renewal proposals and commercial opportunities;
•Prepare and analyze reports and client-oriented recommendations;
•Act as a sparring partner for clients, insurers and internal stakeholders;
•Share knowledge and support less experienced colleagues where needed.
Your profile
•Demonstrable experience within Marine, Hull or transport insurance;
•Strong analytical, commercial and results-oriented;
•Independent, proactive and used to working in a dynamic environment;
•Good communicator and a persuasive conversation partner for clients and insurers;
•Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written;
•In possession of Wft Schade Zakelijk, or willing to obtain this in the short term.
