Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java or .NET
•Design data models and integrate relational or NoSQL databases according to portal functionality
•Collaborate with front-end developers to define API contracts and ensure smooth integration
•Build and deploy services in containerized environments
•Implement secure coding practices, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration
•Optimize service performance, scalability, and reliability
•Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, participating in on-call and support rotations as needed
•Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions
Requirements
•Strong Java or .NET development experience
•Experience building and consuming REST APIs
•Experience with containerized applications and orchestration
•Working SQL and database experience, including relational data modeling and query optimization
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
Nice to have
•Messaging and event-driven architectures
•Financial services, fund administration, transfer agency domain experience
•Cloud-native development practices
